WiMAX Analysis Tools

SeaSolve Software Inc

SeaSolve Software Inc is a global provider of test, analysis and measurement solutions for emerging wireless technologies based on IEEE 802.11(WLAN), IEEE 802.15.4(WPAN), and IEEE 802.16 (WiMax) standards and protocols.

Seasolve's solutions are used by test & certification houses, chip manufacturers, wireless equipment manufacturers, wireless labs and system integrators for the purpose of verifying and pre-certifying compliance to wireless networking industry standards, chip validation, interoperability testing and in design and R&D.

The company is dedicated to create standard and custom built solutions, development tools, Wireless Networking software and Engineering services.

The product suite comprises of software signal generators, signal analyzers and compliance test applications.

The software signal generators for WiMAX, WiFi and ZigBee standards are virtual wireless devices capable of generating IEEE standard compliant signals with the additional capability of adding impairments and MAC configuration.

The signal analyzers are IEEE standards specific, RF and Baseband measurement, testing and analysis tool. They are used to study overall PHY layer performance of transmitters and various receiver testing and various tests like Transmit Power, Power Spectrum, EVM etc. prescribed by the IEEE. The analyzer also gives info on type of modulation, packet, MAC and RF.

SeaSolve products work with industry standard RFSA, RFSG, digitizers, up/down converters and seamlessly integrate with popular PXI platforms for generation and analysis of RF and baseband IQ data.

SeaSolve provides off-the-shelf solutions including hardware and software and also offers customization and integration services with custom hardware.

Our products include:

Seasolve’s solutions help wireless chip and equipment manufacturers test their equipment at design stage, Quality Control and certification process.

IEEE 802.16-2004 standard released in June 2004 specifies the air
interface of fixed broadband wireless access systems The 802.16-2004
standard describes four different air interfaces. One of these interfaces is
optimized for non-line-of-sight, RF frequencies less than 11 GHz and
distances up to 30 km. Although the standard has officially named this
PHY layer as Wireless MAN-OFDM, many people refer to it as the WiMAX
air interface. WiMAX stands for Worldwide Interoperability for
Microwave Access.
