systems, today announced that it will be showcasing a live
demonstration of its Triple Play and IMS test solutions for the
wireless communications market February 12 – 15 at Hall 1, Stand A-03
during the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona. Ixia’s IxLoad™, IxVoice™,
IxMobile™ and IxChariot™ test applications will be running on its
field-proven Optixia XM12 platform to demonstrate test solutions for
IMS and Triple Play services over mobile wireless networks. |

Mobile wireless
networks are accelerating the adoption of IP to expand subscriber
services beyond voice to Triple Play. Converged networks are
increasingly offering these Triple Play services over native IP access
technologies such as Wi-Fi and WiMax. Ixia provides flexible,
easy-to-use tools that test these diverse networks and services,

and Triple Play subscribers and associated protocols to ensure

IxVoice validates the key IMS subsystems for interoperability,
functionality and performance. It supports the dynamic architecture
requirements inherent in large-scale IMS networks. IxVoice emulates
subscribers and network services to test multi-vendor networks for
interoperability. IxVoice also emulates the home subscriber system (HSS)
to test the core control elements’ functionality.
IxMobile is a complete 3G-324M/H.324M and H.323 diagnostic solution
that provides interoperability testing, troubleshooting, service
optimization and video telephony call traffic monitoring capability.
IxMobile provides important user quality, service quality and control
side statistics that easily show how issues affect video telephony
calls.
IxChariot measures end-to-end network performance under realistic load
